Born in picturesque Nowy Sacz, (Poland), Sylwia Płecha graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples with an MA in Conservation of Antique, Modern and Contemporary Paintings, spending the nal year of her MA in the Polytechnic of Valencia.

She has exhibited her work in galleries in Italy and Spain since 2011, and has now moved to London to pursue her varied interests and professional career.
Inspired by the likes of Jannis Kounellis, Mark Rothko and Giovanni Anselmo, Sylwia has developed a personal and unique approach to her work. Her form and colour are clearly in uenced by Morandi - often dominated by one colour.
