Mańka Dowling received her MA (Honours) in Painting and Graphics in 1967 from the Academy of Arts in Warsaw. In 1970 she moved to London.
Her rst exhibition was at the Woodstock Gallery (1972). She then created a series of 3D paintings exhibited at the New Talent Store (1980). Since then she has held many individual and group exhibitions in Monte Carlo, Sweden, Mexico, Syria, Russia and London.

Her most recent exhibitions have been at the Spiegelsalon (Berlin), the Mostra Gallery and Gallery - 1 at the Polish Olympic Centre (Warsaw).
In her latest paintings she portrays humour and irony and her works are always colourful and joyful.
