Andrzej Maria Borkowski, artist and art critic, senior lecturer at School of Art, Brighton University -  born in Warsaw,  educated at Warsaw University, Courtauld Institute of Art (MA) and London College of Printing. Founder member ofWarsaw based theatre “Akademia Ruchu“ . Since 1982 when he has arrived to England ( invited to join British theatre group “Hesitate & Demonstrate”) lives and works in London.  Founder member of “BigosGroup of Artists of Polish Origin” .

Works in various media creating screen prints, drawings, collages and reversed painting on glass as well as photographs documenting his “drawings in nature” - site-specific images created in nature and often playing with his own distorted shadow.
