Born in 1976 in Przemyśl, Agnieszka Handzel-Kordaczka is a graduate of the Art College in Jarosław and the University of Silesia Art Institute, with a degree in painting and ceramics. She was one of the winners of the German Paderborn Volksbank Young European Artist award in 2001 and is a member of the Przemyśl Fine Arts Society and the Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain.
